Resolve Issues with Comments and Attachments
Administrators can require team members to provide comments and/or attachments when marking issues as resolved. This ensures proper documentation, accountability, and audit trails for issue resolutions.
Configuration Modes
Admins can choose from three modes in Settings → General Settings → Issue Tracker Settings → “Resolve issue with comments”:
![]()
![]()
| Mode | Comment | Attachment | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| No Requirements (Default) | - | - | Quick resolutions, low-risk issues |
| Comment Required | Required (10-250 chars Admin, 1+ char Mobile) | Optional (up to 10) | Process issues needing explanation |
| Comment + Attachment Required | Required | Required (1-10 files) | Safety, quality, compliance issues requiring proof |
Changes apply immediately across both Admin and Mobile apps.
