Related Features & Best Practices

Related Features & System Connections

  • Client Organization Management: The “Feature Access” configuration is directly tied to individual client organization managed by the Superadmin.
  • Subscription Tiers/Plans: This configuration allows Nimbly to offer different sets of features based on the plan a client organization is subscribed to.
  • All Nimbly Modules/Features: The list of features available for configuration covers a wide range of Nimbly’s capabilities, impacting what users within that client organization can access and use on both web and mobile platforms.
  • Nimbly Backend Integration: [Schedules](../../Schedule/Schedule Listing/ScheduleListingOverview.md) are pulled from, and completed audits are seamlessly submitted to, the central Nimbly server.
  • Interconnected Modules: Completed [schedules](../../Schedule/Schedule Listing/ScheduleListingOverview.md) can feed data into Reports, trigger [Issues](../../Issue Tracker/IssueTrackerOverview.md), or automatically store captured media in the Gallery/Repository, depending on your Nimbly system’s setup.
  • Operating System Reliance: The app fully leverages the Android OS for critical functions like [permissions](../../Settings/Access control/AccessControlOverview.md), camera/mic hardware access, and local file storage.
  • Device Gallery/File System: Captured media is directly saved to your device’s native gallery and file system for easy access.

Best Practices for Optimal Use

  • Superadmin should clearly understand the feature set associated with each subscription tier (Starter, Pro, Enterprise, Custom) before making changes.
  • Communicate any changes in feature access to the relevant client organization administrators to avoid confusion.
  • Use the search functionality (browser or in-page if available) to quickly locate specific organization in a long list.
  • Regularly review and audit feature access configurations to ensure they align with current agreements and product offerings.
  • Grant All [Permissions](../../Settings/Access control/AccessControlOverview.md): To ensure full functionality, especially for evidence collection, grant all necessary [permissions](../../Settings/Access control/AccessControlOverview.md) (notifications, location, camera, microphone, storage) when prompted.
  • Stay Updated: Always keep the app updated to the latest version via the in-app prompt to benefit from new features and bug fixes.
  • Enable Location Services: For accurate location stamping on media, ensure your device’s GPS/location services are enabled and have a strong signal.
  • Monitor Device Storage: Be mindful of your device’s storage, as captured media is saved locally. If network connectivity is intermittent, make sure to sync/submit completed audits regularly.

• • Check for Conflicts: If you encounter [issues](../../Issue Tracker/IssueTrackerOverview.md) with camera or video recording, verify that other apps (like screen recorders) aren’t conflicting with hardware access.
